    I now live in California as marketing director for a hi-tech software company.
    I have a wife, Jacqueline, and daughter, Elodie, and am expecting another
    baby in July this year. I previously trained as a particle physicist, having
    gained a PhD in 1993 and worked as a physicist for 8 years in laboratories
    across the world.
